John Aniston to Present Gabby Award at Ellis Island Ceremony

John Aniston, longtime actor on the NBC daytime drama Days of our Lives and father of actress Jennifer Aniston, will present an award at the June 4, 2011 Gabby Awards at Ellis Island.
Aniston's family emigrated to the United States from the island of Crete when he was a young boy. His parents opened a diner in Eddytown, Penn.
His acting career started in the lights of New York with the original NY production of the smash hit musical 'Little Mary Sunshine.' He went on to appear in more than 40 productions on and off Broadway. Aniston has also appeared in several soap operas since 1975. His role as the smart-mouthed tycoon Victor Kiriakis on Days of our Lives was his most famous and longest-running role, beginning in 1985.
He has also made appearances on television series Gilmore Girls, Airwolf, Combat, My Big Fat Greek Life, the West Wing, Star Trek: Voyager and Mad Men
