We are planning a series of exciting events that will take place all weekend long in the Big Apple as part of the 2011 Gabby Awards weekend.

a documentary by Christos Epperson about Crete's resistance during WWII.  To be shown in commemoration of the 70th anniversary and the heroes of the Battle of Crete.

Official Welcome Salon hosted by the Greek America Foundation featuring a personal appearance by internationally acclaimed jewelry designer Konstantino, and a rare opportunity to see the designer’s entire collection and purchase men's and ladies' items at a discount. Official Post-Gabby Awards brunch. Enjoy complimentary mimosas and bloody marys at Molyvos Restaurant. In addition to the complimentary drinks, the Livanos Family and Chef Jim Botsacos will extend 10% of all brunch sales that day to the Greek America Foundation and Chef Botsacos will be on hand to sign copies of his best selling cookbook "New Greek Cuisine". Farewell Concert featuring TRIFONO — a platinum selling group from Greece that will take guests on a musical journey through Greek musical heritage. The concert taking place at Town Hall features an appearance by Lina Orfanos. Concert tickets are included in the Gabby Awards ticket price while supplies last. (Town Hall, 123 West 43rd Street)
