Celebrating Greek America's Best & Brightest Stars

Welcome to the Gabby Awards website—launched to spotlight a very special event that will take place for the first time in 2009. Created and hosted by Greek America Magazine, the nation’s most widely-circulated periodical for Greek Americans, the Gabby Awards were founded to celebrate excellence amongst Greek Americans and to reward those who embody it.

The word “Gabby” evolves loosely from the acronym Greek America’s Best and Brightest Stars. After an exhaustive nomination process by the members of the Gabby Academy, followed by the voting process via this website, the Gabby Award winners will be announced at the first gala awards ceremony in Chicago on Friday, June 19, 2009.

Get a copy of the DVD of the complete 2009 Gabby Awards. It includes the entire awards ceremony and special moments from the red carpet and after party.
